TimS
can someone explain the allure of tog, when its the fall run? Is it just a "mix it up" thing or a "if you have to ask" thing? I know tog is freaking delicious and all but it never made a lot of sense to me to each his own obviously.... To confound you even further, I prefer to let them all go, particularly the bigger ones TimS Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere. Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.

Billybob
I don't get it either landru, what's the deal? Good luck whatever it is. So, back to togtalk. Willy dove the spot that we fished on Sat. He shot 3 , biggest was 9 lbs. It's interesting and actually makes Tim look smart, the bigger tog were up current, and they were off the rocks a bit, hanging out where the mussel beds start, just off the ledge. The little guys were down current more and tucked in close to the rocks. He saw a monster, said it had to go 15, it just looked at him and swam away, then circled back, wasn't spooked at all. He shot, but missed.
