It has a flat thin profile My mold makes only a 3 and 4 ounce head with an 8/0 hook Is that the one you speak of or was the Sand Kuzia head with the stainless hook It is an Upperman with a galvanized 8/0. The thin profile will surely decend to the depths quickly and with some minor tuning may have a deadly flutter/wobble action. What ,if any, trailer would be recommended? Plastic, pork, skin? Thanks Ditch Troll #338 -Tight Lines

Thanks I received several of these jigs at a previous event and fished them hard this summer. Plastic worked alright but nothing beats a pork trailer for me. The profile really helps get them down there in a current. Angler #1
I have used Curly tails, Short plastic tails, Strips of mackerel and or herring when it was legal, Over all the best really is good old pigs hide [pork rind] Change up the color schemes and the shapes used is all part of finding what works on that day as every day can be a learning experience if you have an open mind. The drop rate can be changed by using bucktail with more hollow tubes then with out them. Less i some cases are better and more in other cases as far as how much you tie onto the head. Head colors can be varied and even in some cases not painted at all . White more common, however black, red [like black in the water] yellow [small pogies] Pink when you have squid around . Each color on occasion can have a meaning, you just need to experiment to find out for yourself which is best that time you are fishing where ever you may be.
