Dan J Posted July 9, 2010 Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 Since there seems to be a number of Civil War Buffs here, some may be interested in these images of General Hancock, of Gettysburg fame, and his final resting place. He's interred in an abandoned 19th century cemetery in Central Montco, PA just a short walk from my work shop. Thousands drive by every day on nearby highways and have no idea of the history right under their noses. I was told by someone that the keystone at the top of his crypt represents PA, and the club was to identify fellow members of same regiment for those who couldn't read.
