At least the boats and crew do not look like Nascar with sponsors...yet. Last season I noticed BPS starting to pop up. Hum, some of the "personalities" are starting to wear thin. Watched last nights opener.... I'm done. To much egos talking smack, and bitching about "fishing on my numbas...". Suppose that wouldn't make much sense since they throw 'em on ice any way, I'm sure someone will chime in and give us the real deal. . . . . . . Without the smack talk and editing the show would be pretty boring. All set with watching a bunch of guys standing on a boat for hours waiting for a rod to bend. I'm wondering about the product-placement aspects of this. It was easy to read ACCURATE TWINDRAG on Marciano's green reel. He was an Accurate Pro as of last season, mentioned it here. I could read TIAGRA on another reel, recognized Penn International reels and noted that the name was blurred on a couple more. Intentional or just a matter of camera position at that moment? Editing is an amazing thing, it can take one scene and turn it into something totally different. Marciano is an ass kisser, and even though Pauline is one hell of a fisherman he tends to b an *******. Capt ralph rules and I promise that you won't see much of him this year because he's a fisherman not a wannabe tv star. By the way ,you might not like Dave but that summabitch knows what he's doing. Just got finished talking to a certain capt from p town. Marciano has sunk every boat he's owned he's nothing but a kiss ass wannabe tv star . Paulie is one hell of a fisherman but he is an a hole I know this because he yelled at a young girl bartender I know for not feeding him his drinks fast enough. You might not like Dave but he's one of the best. In my humble opinion capt Ralph rules but don't expect to see much of him this year since he's a fisherman not some pawn for the disc.
