Not directly related to the CC bridges but infrastructure costs of late.  How about a small stream river bridge projected rehab/replacement 2 years ago was at 11.1M 60 days ago the estimated cost went to 50.3M.   Since the Bi Partisan infr bill took hold costs have just went insane for everything.  There is no telling what the CC bridges will end up costing the way things are playing out.  It's just insane.

You also have to,look at the time line for most of these bridges, most two year projects in the past are now 3 and sometimes 4 years............

And yet in FL they can put up a bridge over the intercoastal in no time at all.

There's no need to blow smoke up my ass as a lengthy preamble to your insulting another person. It doesn't fool anyone and it doesn't garner any favor.

Look not further than Healy, Warren, Keating , Markey, and the MA administrations ineptitude in 1), securing more federal funding, and 2), developing creative methods to finance the remaining balance.

Biggest issue Cape Cod has is nitrogen pollution.  This threat to the livability on Cape Cod is simmering just below the surface.  Cape town officials and residents best get their act together and quickly address this issue. The importance and emphasis on a new bridge to ease traffic congestion pales in comparison to the significant economic/social challenges that unchecked nitrogen pollution will bring to Cape Cod.

Tell me more about this “tunnel to Prince Edward Island”

Yea....nobody told me about the tunnel to PEI...and the bridge was almost $40 to cross :squid:

Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere.
Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.
