Oh yea whys that? Here on SOL you get to post pics of your fish, plugs, reels, rods, dogs and other equipment. And then you talk about whats going on and what not.

On facebook and myspace its more or less of the same thing...you get to talk about other hobbies/interests and you get to post all kinds of pics. But overall you get to have a good time socializing with friends.

Well, here at Stripersonline.com, we are all gathered together because of our affinity for fishing for striped bass. The rest of the stuff comes out after that. Please explain to me how any other site even remotely compares to this one. I know you're not one who has just come lately, so how is it that you haven't grasped this concept by now? If you think that this is simply a social networking site, you would be wrong.

Check the name and tag line. We are here for fishing, about fishing, and are willing to help you catch more fish. The fact that we have other forums that may not be fishing related just proves that we are so much more than just a fishing site. It shows that we provide as much as we possibly can for our members, and all from our members. Anyone is welcome to join in. It doesnt cost a dime, and is worth a million dollars.

All we ask is that you respect the rules that have been well thought out before they were laid down. It doesnt matter to us how things are done anywhere else. This is how we do it. Yer welcome to pull up a chair and join the fun. Or, if ya dont like it, move on. But I bet if ya if ya hang around a little while, you'll get hooked.
