He asked for a "real" fishing pole for his bday last Thursday. So I bought him an ugly stik he can grow in to. The day after his bday he was casting like a pro and caught his very first striper. Reeled it in himself and everything. The joy he had is a memory I'm sure both of us will have for life. Proud moment for me. I also caught a bunch of shakers not picture worthy. I think I tried to force it on him too much when he was younger. He looks like his momma more anyway haha. My younger one I encouraged him but never pressed him too hard about it and now he loves it.
