While all this is going on I ask you why is the president and his admin absolutley silent on afghanistan??? Why is the very same press corp that updated us daily about Iraq casulaties and daily asked the bush admin about Iraq so silent now when it comes to afghansistan when clearly the casualty rates are very high ???

The news you watch is too busy talking about Benghazi. Obama just appointed a new special envoy to Afghanistan last week. Fox must have forgotten to cover that.

I wasn't watching fox when I saw the president at the UN blaming the YouTube video.

For all the world to see.

Yup, she said she is not worried about it. Anything goes wrong she can call Obama for reinforcements. :scared:

I'm not defending anything. I'm trying to figure out what you guys are enraged about, and why. From what I can tell, you're mad about something being covered up, but you have no idea what it is.

Okay, start with this: The administration covered up the fact that these were coordinated Terrorist attacks by lying repeatedly to the American people and claiming that the attack was a result of spontaneous demonstrations protesting some obscure Youtube video. Which leads to an obvious question:

Why would an administration touting a decreased Terror threat as a campaign talking point seek to cover up the fact that just weeks before an election claim the attack on Bengazi was not a terrorist attack?

"The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. ... No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation."

-Barack Obama, the day after the Benghazi attack

"No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America."

-later the same day

"I want people around the world to hear me: To all those who would do us harm, no act of terror will go unpunished."

-The next day

So he called it terrorism, and also said it was about the video. Not much of a coverup. Maybe he got bad intel. Maybe it's utterly irrelevant.

Maybe it's not. We have the right to know.

Truth is IMO......the WH and News Media can't report the truth if they wanted to......else they'd be held accountable for much more than just this......and Ms. Clinton is going to make a run fro President......man are we screwed.

PBS is pretty good. They covered it last Friday.

As did Fox News and most other news organizations, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/03/kerry-names-veteran-diplomat-as-new-afghan-envoy/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnews%2Fpolitics+(Internal+-+Politics+-+Text)

Back to Benghazi . . . The Obama Administration appeared to have intentionally misled the American people about the cause of the terrorists attacking the embassy, not just a simple "act of terror", and not allowing Special Operations to engage and assist those under attack from Terrorists and not protestors.

Don't you want to know the truth? If it were your family member, would you not want accountability. Or was it "a long time ago" or "what difference does it make"?

This administration is shameless.

"Starving dogs begging for scraps. The big picture is not important as long as we can get our scraps."
