The rod is about 6'8" and is fine. Was just curious...it stood next to the Lami and was alittle short, maybe rod length envy wink.gif

That's FishTank Hank...good guy, but more at home on the sand/sod whipping around the sissy stick. You know how they arecwm31.gifcwm27.gif

Went for a PM trip with my gf on the Seahunter. Man are there loads of crab at the dock. Saw one that must be a 6-7", wanted to call NET! Well, the day started slow, with only a couple shorts. Notice a fella two spot down doing fairly well. Is that a chartresue lure I see on his hook. Pulled out one of my own custom rig with a chartreuse grub and promised my gf she'll have fish within minutes... well it wasn't minutes, but she hauled up our first keeper and pool winner. A 5-6 pounder, her personal best, even besting me. Ended the day with another keeper. I was able to dodge the skunk, with a 2-3 pounder myself.

Worst half day fluke trip I've ever been on, afternoon trip today on the Sea Hunter.

1, yes 1 legal fluke on the entire boat of about 25 fares. A few birds and that's it. I did not catch a single fish, not even sure if the 1 bite I had was really even a bite.

Left my straw hat on the boat to boot. If any of you guys go out this weekend, please ask someone to put the hat somewhere. I'll be back in a week or 2 for another try and pick it up then.

I've never met the mate working today. His name was Eddie, seemed like a good guy. icon14.gif

The only thing that saved the day was that I fished with my dad, who is 82 years old. we had a real nice time just the 2 of us.kiss.gif I love my dad and I always look forward to seeing him. I'm not sure how much more time he has left on this earth, so I cherish the time I get to spend with him.

Lots of current, lots of freshwater, I assume lots of wind. I went out in teh AM for an hour, not a touch.

Private boat with three other guys... the drift was crap and we ended up with four legal fish in an eight hour day.

Tomorrow we are heading east to check out some numbers out past the mud hole.

this has to be the most disrespectful and disgusting thread I've ever seen posted

Would you mind telling where you fished about? Bay or ocean? We are heading out tomorrow for fluke and would like to avoid the skunk grounds.
