hotfishgirl
Waaahhh, the seals are ruining my fishing, waaahhh. It's called nature. Seals live in the ocean, and eat fish. Bigger fish live in the ocean, and eat seals. Let's kill all the seals because they're ruining my fishing!!! There are still plenty of fish around areas where the seals are. If there weren't fish, the seals probably wouldn't be there. Think of them as another part of the challenge of catching fish, because nothing is going to be done about them until whitey grabs the leg of a swimmer off Chatham. you would not be saying that if it was your area that was now full of seals. There is no challenge because there are no more fish in these areas. There are thousands of seals and they have wiped out the fish.I really don't think it will be long before someone becomes a hot lunch. capequahog
The seals are out of control on the lower cape, it's a fact, if you talk to long time area surf casters there's a gradual coinciding fish loss, seal gain in the area, a few great whites won't make a dent, etc etc

Funny how that works. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? oldgoat
So there are no fish left in Chatham or Monomoy? I hope you can look at the larger picture. Ihope you can consider all the fish other than stripers that have stayed in the bays after the stripers have left. The enbayments are stripped and that is an enviromental shame. Rappin Mikey
I guess there are no seals in or Great Whites in Hanover. He'd be singing a different tune. Tree Huggers:mad:

Tree Huggers:mad: Haven't seen either yet, but I'm always looking out for them. Relax rapper mikie. Just because I don't want to kill all the seals on the cape, that doesn't make me a tree hugger. I admit I was not looking at the larger picture. I was really only considering those who complain about it hurting their striper fishing. F it, just kill them. Stewie
Maybe the seals are eating the piping plovers. Wouldn't that be a viable reason to turn them all into coats and slippers? .........Elvis lives....2020
