sageguy
Parcells only won with the Giants. Good point, but did so multiple times. And sadly much of the Rams credit for Super Bowl 34 goes to Martz........Vermeil supplied the crying and emotional support. Au2K
sageguy
As a "coach", Belichick has 5 rings......2 with Giants 3 with Patriots...that would rank you high on any all-time coaching list. Au2K

Ditch Jigger
Let's not forget Joe Gibbs. Won 3 rings, and only one of them with a halfway decent QB in Theismann. The other two, he won with Doug Williams and Mark Rypien. "…if catching fish is your only objective, you are either new to the game or too narrowly focused on measurable results.” - D. spiegs71
Don Shula has to be the most OVERRATED coach of all time - nothing with Marino, losing to Namath and the Jets...just a tool. No soup for him. That I've seen: Gibbs (not part Deux under Danny Boy) Parcells Walsh Jimmie J - man could find and coach talent Belecheat Cowher Landry Honorable Mention: Joe Walton Walt Michaels Rich Kotite Bruce Coslett

Mick2360
Walt Michaels...... There's a blast from the past. He had an epic meltdown during a playoff game when he was convinced that Al Davis was playing head games with the phone during halftime. Of course, the Jets self destructed in the second half. Ditch Jigger
Remember The Collaspe of the Skins the year after Rypien Won it They made the playoffs, won the wild card round, and played the Niners tough. I'd hardly call it a collapse. "…if catching fish is your only objective, you are either new to the game or too narrowly focused on measurable results.” - D. spiegs71
When i was a kid my dad used to take me to Jets games at Shea Saw all sorts of just god awful football back then Was at the last home game at Shea - didn't see another game until 2004 or 2005 - when I got free tickets to see them play SF at the meadowlands. They should have never left, despite the nicer bathrooms

Shoot, why not throw Joe Walton into the mix, too. Someone already mentioned Kotite.
