Steve_M
This is a question for guys with a bad back. What belt do you use? I see the Z belt has a band for back support. Also do you put your bag on your belt? I was wondering if it really helps. I had back surgery and I can’t be on the beach for too long. I’m looking for recommendations. Thanks in advance. JakerSurf
I've tried a few and I'm now using a Duty Belt that is great. Its very sturdy nylon, has a decent buckle and sizing velcro that can also be a quick relase. That said...as soon as I have the budget I am buying a Z-Belt. The engineering allows you to wear a plug bag and other stuff on your belt and still spin them to the back out of your way without binding up your coat, plus back support.. I'm tired of my plug bag falling off my shoulder when reaching down. Steve_M
dtracy43
I have the Z belt and works great , no more back issues and allows for bags and gear to slide better.... Steve_M

The Simms belt looks the best as far as support. It looks just like a few post surgery braces I've had. KAN313
Been using Zbelt for 2 seasons. Purchased the belt with extra back support and have nothing but good things to say about it. Holds my pliers, a small bucktail pouch and my 2 tube bag perfectly, I’ve used a larger 4 tube bag on it as well but usually I’ve downsizes my lures since 2 years ago. Tend to carry my gear in my belt and zbelts do a great job at holding plug bag or whatever else you may need without getting in your way as well as providing extra back support which was main reason for purchase. They are built to last, great quality and materials no complaints whatsoever, would recommend for those that like to carry gear on their belts. FallenKell
I use a rubber diving belt which I then added a molle "battle belt" onto it. Provides really decent back support while at the same time added molle connections that I used to add pouches and other connectors/accessories. basshole918
Gear up makes a solid belt . It’s really stiff and gives good support . Steve_M
