stalkinthebeaches
So I'm from the north of Boston and making the trek to Middletown tomorrow to look at a car. Is it worth trying to fish the CT River for the night while I'm down there? Not looking for spots or baits or anything just wondering if it's worth the $$ for the license or should I leave my gear at home?
Yankeehusker
River is high, cold and muddy. Some schoolies around that far north but that is about it now. In a couple weeks it should be a different story!
John P
River is at flood stage, not a very good possibility for now.
ARoz
Water is too high and cold for the investment of the license IMHO
jimmy z
Last week the river was up, it came down a bit but is way up as of Friday. May is the month for bigger bass, than they head out front and keep migrating. Nucleo85
The company I work for is in South Windsor and I have to go up a few days a week to the office, being from the SW part of the state, the CTR up that way is foreign to me, anyone who fishes the area and willing to meet for some casting or share some knowledge shoot me a pm. Most likely early AM trips. I've been doing my research and scoping satelite images and charts, but overwhelmed by the size compared to the housy. Any help appreciated, and maybe a plug the other way!
