hp609
easiest way is to use a bumper jack like the one jeep guys use ,jack it up in middle all the way up and push sideways so u fall off the jack If you have a high jack and a strong bumper(some aftermarket have slots for the high jack) you can jack one end up, place wood planks or something similar, repeat on back side if needed, then drive away. I have not used this method but have read about on jeep forums.
pine cone
So I found these for thirty dollars. For $120 it would equal the length of the max track I don't know if it would be the same quality but that's less than half price.
dena
An enterprising, handy, and cheap guy(me) is thinking of drilling a hole through each end some cut off 2 X 2s, and roping them together, kind of like a step ladder with the rungs close together. 20 foot of rope, and 40 or so cut off boards should get you two tracks 5 feet long for short money. It only has to work once.... Material abundance without character is the path of destruction. -Thomas JeffersonThere are two ways to be fooled. flattychaser
Never tried carpet, what about those traction pads that roll out. I think they are made out of rubber

Cpalms
Never tried carpet, what about those traction pads that roll out. I think they are made out of rubber not sure if it has been mentioned - but instead of carpet I have used my floor mats. In a pinch they work pretty well. pine cone
thanks hp609 I'm going to make a little chain to go around my aluminum wheel spokes that I can attache to a Off-Road Farm Jack or HI-Lift jack. I'll also put a beach towel in-between the fender and the top of the jack, looking at that video if the truck shifts it's going to get all scratched up or dented. Pez Rojo
“Closed cell foam sheet” can be a handy in the arsenal for truck sand extraction. Stuffed under the leading edge of the tires / used like you would use carpet in gaining purchase of terrain. A cot size sheet can be rolled up and compactly stored, for use whenever there might be the need to work sitting / laying on the ground to dig out, or the ever pleasing mid day nap when the bite is slow… I keep one sheet cut to fit under the mattress bunk in the camper along with sheets cut to fit the coolers I carry, in a pinch the one under the mattress can be cut into needed sections and the ones in the coolers can be pulled out for use also. The foam under the mattress makes for an extra comfy bunk and though the foam in the coolers do take up a bit of space at the top of the cooler, it keeps the cold goods from direct exposure when the lid is lifted.(saves on ice).
