well over 100 today, 7 keepers to 19" in that tough S wind. Ocean got nasty on the way in - can't wait for tomorrow redface.gif

What Allen said. My arm still hurts from reeling in all those fish.

You know it must be a penguin bound down if you hear that terrible screaming and there ain't no other birds around.

Maybe the rod I caught yesterday was supposed to be under the tree cwm12.gif

Was on the ReelClaass yesterday and we watched this guy fighting what we thought was the biggest fish in the ocean. He pulled up a tangled mess with a rod and reel attached to it. Must be rod season.

7/12 - over 100 fish, 11 keepers to 3# all on bait rigs

7/14 outside slowed down a bit yesterday - big roll and lack of drift. came inside and played w/ the shorts and cocktails; had kids on the boat.

fish are spread out all over outside, a ton of fish w/ some nice ones mixed in

Saw something I have not seen since Tim and I beat on them a couple years ago... Big boat at the marina had a pile of 'mats yesterday. Big fish were 10.2, 9.5, 3 in the 8's and 7 more > 6#. I know the capt. and he would not talk, bastage. I got some clues though, gonna scope it out on Monday wink.gif

Is it too much to ask to just breathe, be able to walk and go fishing?

Drifted around the south shore of the Raritan, well off from the borrow pit fleet. Nuttin going on. From where we were we could see that the fleet dispersed by 9 or so and went east. I had my kids out so 3 fishless hours on the water was enough.
