NoMoCoJoe
The ocean is flat out unforgiving. I fished RB from about 6:30-7:30 tonight and if I fell down in that water at waste deep, I could've been in trouble. Between the wind and the current, the water was furious. I just won't go alone, especially at night. Pray for the man's family. "Hey Smails! My dinghy is bigger than your whole boat!"

c4charlie
Sorry to hear that. Inlets are especially dangerous. Word of advice is once you are at a spot, before you start fishing. Think about some unexpected scenarios and what would you do if you get knocked off or if a rogue wave comes in. The same you think about where to land a fish if you catch one, you should think about worst case scenario and what you could do to get to safety. Know the surroundings.
