mantriumph
Before you start killing snakeheads.Get Familiar with the bowfin. As these bowfin are not an invasive species and should be left be.
Intrepid95
i live in mass.... do you think there here as well  There is at least one confirmed record of one being caught off the Longfellow Bridge over the Charles River. Lots of exotics in that dirty water.  Just keep in mind for some of you south of New England: not every snake-like fish with sharp teeth and a long dorsal fin is a snakehead. Most likely a bowfin, which is a native species. Catching three snakeheads in one spot sounds kind of suspect.  [Edit] Dammit, ninja'd by mantriumph. Dabigstriper
the show blew it way outta proportion. the show was about when the snakehead first appeared in the usa. now they are just kinda accepted. unless they move into every pond, river or lake in the usa then they will not be mentioned very much. the only bad thing about them is that they have a lung above their head so they can breathe when out of water and then can walk on land.
