squidlips
Access to shore towns will be the problem. Many over zealous town officials will have their moment in the sun come Monday. this has to be the most disrespectful and disgusting thread I've ever seen posted
Kings over Queens
Yeah, depends on being able to "get" back to the water, and whether or not your dock is OK. As far as the storm goes, weather wise it's going to be spectacular on Monday. RatWhacker X5
Well, for boaters in RB......... it will take a while for all the debris that will be comming down the Shrewsbury to wash out.....very dangerous to boaters even after our usual hard storms every year. Dock pilings, branches, wood, refrigerators, water tanks of all types....you name it and it will be washing into RB. Not good to hit with a boat.......... keeler
The marine forecast for NY harbor and surrounding areas is quite good Monday afternoon and the following several days. As mentioned, the big questions are: Did my dock survive and did my boat ( hauled out ) survive? I will check everything out on Monday assuming I can get to my boat yard. If all is OK, in the water on Tuesday
Chief2
MANY boats already back in, the trickiest part will be river crossings getting TO your launch.
Kings over Queens
Atlantic Highlands marina looked like a ghost town last night. Many boats pulled, almost like it was November. I'm in no hurry to get back in. #otterlivesmatter
plugger
Lot's of lumber, old docks and asorted hazards seen floating about in JBAY, need a few more tide cycles for this stuff to find a home on shore
