I'm no rooster expert, but I learned that your farthest casting surface plug, is the one you want to throw. Bring extras, because you can't pick any up at a local B&T. Also, consider a fast retrieve reel, like a Daiwa Saltist 4500 or 5000. You have to skitter the plugs across the surface. Rob remind me what is a Chicken plug, I just picked up a Saltist 5000h and thinking of getting a Catalina 5000h . Lets talk current reels ...and I do consider the 2008 stella as current .
