zmendes35 Posted April 8, 2014 Report Share Posted April 8, 2014 The haddock are in and in full force. Went on Eastman's this weekend. It was bottom and you got em. Your bait couldn't sit on the bottom for more than 10 seconds before getting hooked. Caught over 40 haddock. With only 14 keepers though, so many 18-20inch fish. But the 21inch fish were still coming up. To bad this wasn't a few years back because I would have finished with so many of them when they were still 18inches. The action lasted about 2 hours and then it turned into a slow pick. We ended the day with a red fish spot and I caught 21 reds but only kept 12 which were jumbos the rest I gave away. I wish I didn't forget my phone because I wish I could have took pictures. One guy even had a triple header of keeper haddock. Fishing was unbelievable.
