Anyone no where to purchase VMC Hooks on Long Island. Looking for a store right away. Lost some fish last night due in part to dull, weak hooks and poor technique. Trying to correct both.

Lots of info on this post, thanks alot. My statement seems to be taken out of content some. I know buying the VS won't make me a better fishermen....nor will it make me catch more fish. I know this already.......What I was fishing for was honest opinions as to wheather or not the reel made for more enjoyable and worry free angling. And that I got, so Thanks to all who offered up their honest opinions. Oh, by the way the reel was purchased and I look forward to the upcoming season. Good Luck to all this year.

The Eagle 128 fishfinder...price is reasonable.... used.... can be had for $35.00 figured I couldn't go wrong at that price .....What say you all on ease of use.....depenability.....accuracy etc.

The OLD TRIPLE BEAM....haven't used it in yearssssssssssssssss.

It's still slow to me. Somebody else must be D/L and causing more problems.

At the end of last season I was talking to an old salt at the boat ramp of the nissy and he suggested that I find an alternative to the waders I was wearing to kayak in. Now I was using a wet suit in the summer, which is just fine. But as the weather gets colder and the water temps start to drop, what do you guys wear while Kayaking? In the fall and early Spring.

Hey Guys I want to thank you all for your suggestions. I'll be giving some of your ideas a try until I get something that works for me. I just can't get use to having that water in the bottom of my Yak. For some reason I just don't like it. Anyway again, Thanks and tight lines to all.
