I hope ramp 49 remains open the second week of July , I will be staying at the Hatteras Sands campground.Driving older model white Tahoe.

I would say Mullet,Pompano and sharks,I fish Oak island which is south of the Oregon inlet, that's what I have been catching on sand fleas when I can find them.

This really sucks,I just bought the off road permit for Hatteras and it looks like I will be very limited in the areas I can fish the second week of July. -
I will be down that way the second week of July,Cant wait. Never thought about clamming I will have to give it a try.I wonder if the Pompamo and Mullet eat clam?

I do much better with a soft rod using circle hooks catching Pompano from the surf in North Carolina
