Tropical Fish in NJ waters?

hello, sol members i have been seeing alot of post on facebook of people catching tropical fish like jacks, grouper, hound fish and a cubera snapper in the surf! is this uncommon in new jersey? or have some of the seasoned surf casters seen this before in our state? i know the water is very warm but i have been fishing for 5 years in the surf never since anything like this. i know that a few miles off shore mahi, blue fin, jacks and other species can be caught but never have i seen so many caught in the surf.

A bunch of jack were mixed in with blues crashing on spearing today. We were catching them on very small metal.

Lots coming up from the tropics. These were caught off Keansburg pier today!

I have heard of juvenile bonefish getting caught in seine nets in Barnegat bay a bunch of years ago.
