I remember this film from my youth when cable was new.

What Happened to Tawny Kitaen

 

Tawney Kitaen got her start in the early 80s with such fine films as Malibu and The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak. She gained a bit more notice in 1984s Bachelor Party with Tom Hanks, but hit pay dirt as a video vixen in several Whitesnake videos with boyfriend, David Coverdale.

 

While Tawny stayed hot, her career did not. After her turn as a sex symbol in the 80s, the 90s gave her a few TV roles, with a lot of B-Movies thrown in. She married baseball player Chuck Finley and in 2002 was charged with domestic violence against him. After their divorce, she was popped with having 15 grams of cocaine in 2006, and subsequently entered rehab for the first time.

 

 

In 2008, she appeared on the 2nd season of Celebrity Rehab for abuse of prescription drugs. Tawny appeared to do well on the show although she did not move on to the “Sober Living” home as some of the other stars did. Maybe she should have, in September of 2009 she was arrested for drinking and driving. The only thing she has done since that time is an episode of CSI.
