Orvis T3's - 2wt and 4wt

Hey guys, In a combination of upgrading and simply not fishing freshwater much anymore, I'm selling my Orvis T3's. Both fantastic rods that are a dream to fish.

4wt, 8'6", mid flex 8.5.

7'9" 2wt, mid flex 6.0.

Both cosmetically 8/10. Very small marks from 10 (at most) trips a year. They unfortunately never even saw water this year.

$220 each, shipped and paypaled. I don't have the original tubes for either, but I have a Superfine tube kicking around that will fit the 2wt. Very nice tube in good shape.

I can provide more pictures of either upon request.

that 2 wt sounds fun. whats the biggest fish you can safely target on that.

My fishing buddies all make fun of me because for 90% of my trout fishing, I fish that 2wt. Granted, I'm not steelheading or fishing lakes, but for most of the rivers in NH, ME and MA it's more than enough. 8ft means it can throw some serious distance if you ask it to. My personal best on this particular rod was an 18" leaping salmon in Pittsburg. Nothing to write home about but I didn't feel undergunned. I've caught some big largemouth on poppers as well out of a kayak. I just don't do that kind of fishing anymore.

It's a great rod, I'll miss it!

I have fished much less expensive 2 wt rods and I agree with AA's assessment that this size rod can handle some much larger fish than you think.  Looks like a great deal for a high quality rod.  Good luck AA.  It will sell for sure.  Mike
