One thing about Owens I always had a bit of an issue with.....you can get whole roasters or capons, but when it comes to the broilers and fryers (smaller birds), they only have them in the case already cut up. In some circumstances, the roasters/capons are just too big for a roast chicken for two people, and one would like a whole broiler. I suppose they may accommodate if one were to ask, but many times you just wanna run in and grab your stuff and be on your way instead of having to wait around. I've done it plenty. I plan on choppin some up and bbq slow cooker it and some ill broil. The rest gets frozen to fight another day. Broilers were 2 bucks a lb and legs 1.19lb not bad at all for local free range birds. Also grabed a dozen jumbo eggs for 3.50 Hit Valentes for lunch and some veg.
