nipsip
Except when Catholic Bishops start pushing against the 10 year old Bush rule on contraceptives. Want a list? Here goes. 1. The Catholic Church opposes the death penalty for criminals - Santorum support the death penalty 2. When Rick Santorum was voting for the war in Iraq, Pope John Paul II was against anyone going to war against Iraq. 3. Catholic bishops have demanded the withdrawal of Israel from Palestinian territories back to the '67 boundries and Rick Santorum has the opposite view. 3. The US Conference of Catholic Bishops are totally against Arizona’s immigration law and Santorum is for it. 4. The US Conference of Bishops wants the federal minimum wage be increased, Santorum voted against it. Can you say two-faced?

Gotcow?
Can you say president Obama is forcing the Catholic church to fund abortion and contraception. I wonder if a president Santorum would attack God, religeon and country the way president Obama has?

He is trying to get a job, working for the American people. If he wanted to work for the Pope, he should go to Rome.

Knight771
Me neither. Now keep your Big Government Liberal Politics out of Americans Religion as the Constitution intends. DonnieB, nitsip can't help it. He hates religion except for the worship of Washington DC. He seems to lack the intelligence to discern "opinions" and voting as part of a representative democracy to having government "impose" financial behavior on people. I can only think that people like him are weak minded and must have a Big Brother to control their behavior. In religion, you always have choices. If you don't like being a Catholic or a Muslim (here in the US) or a Buddist; you can always leave or you can stay within your faith and make exceptions...but as the old joke goes: "In America you can always find the party....in Russia the party always finds you." You can't get away from Big Brother.

BTW Nitsip, I know you are an anti-religious bigot as all leftwing marxists are but you obviously don't see the difference between what Catholicism considers a sin and having a difference of opinion with the policies of your church. Having a dictitorial frame of mind, you mistake church stances on issues of the day to actual laws of the Church. I can only guess that you believe that Catholics are programmed that no matter what the church says, we must all follow like robots. This is what exposes you as a good little marxist who will follow what every your failed Messiah tells you. Most Cathloics may "listen" to church stances but may or may not agree. In this, the Church is much more flexible about some things than government is. But I am guessing you already know that.
fishnmagician
Knight, are you suggesting the Catholic chuch views abortion as a sin, but not capital punishment? or do you just "know" what the pope really thinks? Knight771
hey look, Knight is posting about what other people think, shocking. As I've told you before, seen it, experienced it, know it. I pretty much know what you think because you've been posting here for about 10 years, as I have. Nitsip has posted here thousands of times, has posted numerous C&Ps, has given his opinions about matters great and small, so yeah, I pretty much know how he thinks, just as you know how I think and I know how you think. Do you know how you parents think? Can you make a pretty accurate guess about what your wife might think on a given subject? Bet you can. Please don't be stupid so early in the morning. Off to work. Yes, you've got to read "Humane Vitae" (On Human Life) to get the nuances. It is an interesting subject. But I have to work now. Later.
