Little
I have been here 11 years. I have caught 4. Now my fall fishing time is a bit limited by my work (busiest time of year), and all 4 were caught on conventional tackle (little crappie jigs), so i take that into account. But the goal is to catch them on a fly and I have been dissed by the trout gods again this year. Well? “My happiness is not the means to any end. It is the end. It is its own goal. titleguy
Have heard of some fish being caught in the usual spots, but probably fresh stockies. One of my buddies tells me of a certain midcoast stream that boast a "substantial population". I will hit it in the next week or two. I would ******* LOVE a grave blanket. stripstrike
JW, you need a license for that, other than the Saltwater one? I'd be down for dragging a muddler next to you for a few hours one weekend. Ken The meek shall inherit the Earth, the bold will inherit the Oceans. doogue
Gents, Does this fishery run through December? When does the "run" of searuns start and stop? I have a hankering to try some areas around Portsmouth, although I really have no clue as to where to fish. But all I need to know is that fish might be around and I will give it a whirl on the 5 weight. Best regards, Mike
MichaelT
Salter season is year round except in berry brook where it starts Aug 15 through March 1. need to remember in all cases this applies only to certain parts of the rivers. Need to look close at the regs to see which areas.
