Dropper Loop?

Can someone please explain clearly or post a diagram for a dropper loop.

I keep reading Milt Rosko articles on adding teasers to your standard plug leader combo and he mentions dropper loops as part of the plug/teaser leader set up.

Thanks.

i've used various incarnations over the past twenty years; and tying to the first eye of the leader swivel has worked just as well, as long sas you have plenty of room from teaser to plug.

You may have heard or tried this already , but after 40 years of fishing I saw this for the first time at Raystown Lake this year the guide had all his rods riged with a swivel 2' leader and a teaser spoon or flasher with single hook and tied another 2' [aprx.] leader right to the bend in the hook with another lure on the other end. We not only caught fish but everything stayed nice and neat with no tangles or hangups.

I have a real problem with tying droppers in existing terminal tackle. I recommend for you to tie the dropper before attaching the Jig. It always is easier and the you can attach the jig easily. Just my .02 cents worth!

Hooks up,

Forrest

P.S. Tying it this way is called cheating, by proficient knotsman, but I am not proficient so its called necessity..... biggrin.gif

In a pinch I can do one on the beach. But in general I tye some up at home and sinch the loop up on a nail.It really stinks when you got a 3+ ft peice of flourocarbon that has a bad dropper 1/3 of the way into it....I only need so many teaser leaders redface.gif
