Saw my first poults this evening.

Saw a hen walking the wood line, acting sort of suspicious, as if she's watching her step.  Thought to myself, I'll bet she's got poults.

Sure enough, I was able to glimpse a few tiny brown figures dashing through the brush trying to remain near mom.  Really cool.

We just put up a bird feeder with a camera in it in our yard.  Hopefully it will catch some of the hens and poults that we usually see picking up seed that the squirrels throuw all over the place.

I saw a hen with halve a dozen little ones a week ago in central MA.  Nice to see.  They are haying the fields around here so it should get easier to spot them.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
