The guys is imperfect, is a braggart, and is not shy about using guvmint and OPM inside his enterprises.

That said, the guys is a genius risk-taker and is slowly changing how we do many things, sometimes things people said were impossible.

For example, 15 years ago people said private enterprise rocket launches of the volume that Musk suggested would be impossible. Fast forward to today and SpaceX can launch multiple rockets per week and deploy dozens if not hundreds of satellites.

I am getting lowest latency in the 22-27 second range with my Gen 2 StarLink. Most consider 20s to be the threshold for playing fast video games like FPS and racing. I wouldn't be able to tell 19 or 20s from 25s, but still.

Lemme guess, no Musk company has ever bought data-storage hardware from you?

Without going down a political angle, the administration has given SpaceX some unnecessary grief on launches, etc. So, finally:

SpaceX lands FAA license for Starship megarocket launch on June 6.

“For Flight 4, SpaceX aims to fly its Starship and Super Heavy booster on a similar trajectory as its Flight 3 test, a mission that would launch the Starship vehicle up to orbital velocity, then reenter the craft over the Indian Ocean. The Super Heavy booster, meanwhile, is expected to return toward South Texas and make a controlled ‘landing’ in the Gulf of Mexico.”

The tesla truck is very ugly.  Saw two on the road today.

We are staying two nights in a RV park in St Louis that’s part of Draft Kings Casino. There’s a Cybertruck here and I think it is towing a trailer. Will check it out tomorrow.

I saw one on the road a few minutes ago.  One ugly vehicle.  Looks like it’s not finished.

I saw my first ctruck today, it's certainly different. Bonny and Clyde wish they had it.
