Think these will work for BSB?

My experience with BSB is that they will hit just about anything.   I stopped putting bait on jigs and just fish them bare.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

I have a buddy that threw a fly on a floating line into a school of albies and got a seabass.  When they’re hungry, they’ll go out of their way to eat.  I’ve also gotten them on jumpin minnows and sp minnows in about 30 fow… I’m not sure that I’ve met a picky seabass.

Often in late Aug we'd have nights throwing jigs, and getting hit after hit. Often multiple hits per cast, but no hook ups?

Towards the end of the tide, drop down in weight, and I'd catch 2-3 BSB right in a row. Keeper size.  But most times I'd have to release them because the season was closed.

I've caught BSB on a tube & worm, and even an eel.  They just don't care
