This one is adjacent to a stretch of water that I've ben fishing for over fifty years. It's ben tough, but so far I've managed to stay on task during the work day.

A decent amount of square footage. And lots of levels, Jerry. Levels.

Powder coated aluminum rails look good in black, but are a bit of a bear to work with. I tossed the "instructions" after the first section. No bueno.

Stoopid SOL sideways photos glitch

You should be able to work until fish start blowing up on top, then it's break time. That's how I did it during those years when the fish were camped out down by Asbury Park.

That's the rule on my jobs on the beach.

Here on the river, it's not likely. Plus, I'm only here to do the rails. So no time to watch the water. :( I'll get finish pics on Tuesday when I get done.

Nice work Ben. It can be very distracting.......they were catching Bonito and False Albacore a couple hundred yards away from me......and my boat sat at home while i work. Thats Cuttyhunk right across the bay.20160912_114037.jpg.4afc563800ec1e75f72e0af48a8b8887.jpg

That's a nice view. I hear ya on the albies and bonita. Consider the poor surf angler here, working in view of the beach, watching an "epic" blitz going on outside the bar, out of reach. Worse watching boat guys hauling them over the sides.

That's ben me many times. So when they do come anywhere near reach, the tool belt has a quick release and the rod is rigged and ready, lol.

I know that house! I wanted to live there as a kid. Great reference btw!

You serious about the house? It's really something, inside and out. We used to sled on the hill there, out onto the frozen river. Long ago.

The railing system had ben picked out by the homeowners, but not laid out completely for the deck guys. I had to make it all work right, so a good bit of the blocking that they had installed was missing. Or had just missed. I spent a day just doing that. Easy on the upper section, but when I had to go underneath I came upon this.

I am serious. Rode my bike and drove past it at least a million times lol.

Used to hit the hill north of that as fast as I could with my car to get the butterflies. Drive from Beachwood bikes, all along the water, all the way down to Harbor Inn in Bayville. Our PCH.
