Type of epoxy used to install new cork

I know how to prep for installation.  But, what is recommended for an adhesive from this community ? It's an old spin rod that I'm sprucing up for my grandson to use.

5 minute is weak, doesn't have a long life, and isn't waterproof - that's why we use it for gluing on rod tips and for tying fly's


I've always used Flex Coat rod builder epoxy (not the thread coat), never had a problem, never saw a reason to change
