"Lost" Premio Pliers

Was out fishing one of the early season Staten Island spots on Sunday night with my buddy Ned.  After leaving, he realized he had left his belt with his pliers/pliers sheath on a poll at the parking area.  We drove to another spot and as we were gearing up, he realized he had left them behind.  We quickly got in the car and drove back. When we got there were encouraged to see the belt and sheath still on the poll.  Unfortunately, the pliers had been cut from their Lanyard.  If anyone here found them or knows who did, I'd love to get them back to Ned.  They were a Christmas gift from his daughter and have some sentimental meaning to him.  No questions asked and a reward for your troubles.  Thanks!

If the lanyard was cut, consider it stolen at this point.  I am embarrassed as person from NYC.

It’s NY this is what we choose to live like. Good people do live here but not many and the few we have don’t have much sense. Can’t be embarrassed.

NYC is a great place to live with lots of honest people. Been here over 50 years and am consistently impressed with how New Yorkers look out for each other and help each other out. There are bad seeds everywhere.  Worth putting this plea to return the pliers out there regardless….you never know.

NYC is a crap hole, however as a fellow neighboring LI'er, I do agree most normal NY'ers look out for each other. Do you have a PP account? Even though it was forgetfulness/negligence on your friends part, I'd like to contribute $25 toward a replacement fund, before his daughter finds out they were stolen.

That is extremely gracious and kind of you and the gesture is appreciated. He has already ordered a new pair and despite being a bummer, is not a financial burden. Good people here at SOL!!!!

Just trying to be neighborly. While Premio pliers are a relatively inexpensive item in the fishing world, the fact that is was sentimental because his daughter bought it as a gift for him, is priceless in my mind.
