was docked at the MMA this past weekend, I thought it was gone but came back for a last visit or maybe a campaign stop........................

 

Regardless, pretty impressive to see her tied up to the wharf and being longer than the building there.....................

they came to visit Burkie on Saturday because you  did not.

MMA is borrowing it for their sea term cruise, because the replacement vessel isn't ready yet.

Yes.  It's quite noticeable.  Seems reasonable to me, since it's a training ship.

as a   junior at Mass Maritime my grandson long,tall Pete took the Kennedy down the Atlantic,, through the Panama canal and down the west side of south America ,stopping at ports to drop off charity stuff.

Mass MARITIME IS A GREAT SLEEPER SCHOOL!!!!!

When was this picture taken????  If my memory is working, This past friday was cloudy and drizzly and I don't recall those marks on the ship when it went past BSP heading east.................

Ah yes.  Long, tall Pete made you some proud, OG.

 

Where is Pete now, and what is he doing?  Still with the tugboat outfit or is he travelling foreign seas handling the big boats?
