If you posted a picture of the tree it might help us visualize what we're dealing with.

Chances are he is just making all this up.

He craves attention.

How tall is this tree?

How wide is this tree?

What type of tree is it?

How close to any dwellings or structures is it?

Tree is about 45 feet tall. I don't know how wide the canopy is but it overhangs my roof. Trunk is probably 16" to 18".

Neighbors houses is too close to let it fall. That's why I need to climb it and trim the limbs off.

Need to scale a tree.  I have climbing spikes and a fall harness but I have nowhere to anchor my fall harness except the tree itself.

Any ideas on anchors?

Hi. I can tell you have no idea what you're doing. Stop. Hire a pro. Never spike a tree you're not removing.

He’s removing it

Make sure you have someone video this as it almost never goes as planned :read:

The only safe way to trim limbs is to be above them. What's your plan for taking off the top? Where you gonna be?

Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere.
Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.
