What is your version of light tackle?

That’s an interesting question. I tend to find myself thinking in terms of lure weights — if I can work 1/2-1 oz plugs comfortably, tip down when needed, for extended periods, it feels like light tackle, even if there’s heavier line/leader involved for lifting onto a pier or something.

12ft 1-6oz rod, ZB 25, 65 lb suffix832. "light tackle". just kidding it really depends on what I'm doing, the the lightest I've used is an 8 footer 3/4-3 oz, 20lb braid.

"If I could have my wasted days back would I use them to get back on track? Stop to warm at karmas burning or look ahead, but keep on turning. Do I have the strength to know how I'll go? Can I find it inside to deal with what I should'nt know?"
