Jon boat on the Delaware

Good morning,

I've got a new 12' jon and I'd like to use it on the Delaware with an electric troller @ 55lbs thrust.

I plan to use the boat btwn Milford and Dingmans access ramps.

I've been told its easily done with electric motor....

I see when the water is up and after the first 24 hours, pretty calm and doable.

Life preserver, river anchor, comms.... what else?

Anybody doing this sort of fishing?

Be careful I've heard of some class 2 or 3 rapids around there if I come up with the location or name of the area will let you know

Yes, I could see that set from the Dingmans ramp.

There is a clear "channel" I've seen boats go through. Small propped boats on highish water also make it.

There are some good eddy spots through there, above and below.

I figure I could do a mile up and drift back. Should have plenty battery power, so long as the river is a moderate flow.
