Capt.Castafly
Rhody Fly Rodders has its monthly meeting this Tuesday, November 21st. Indoor club meetings are always the third Tuesday of each month, October thru April. We are the oldest chartered saltwater fly fishing club in the nation, 60 years young. Many of our past and present members have been pioneers in impacting and revolutionized the sport of saltwater fly fishing on the local waters. Many have helped in the development of equipment and flies to catch striped bass. Many have also authored books, wrote for publications, presented at major trade shows. Meetings start at 6:30 PM at the Riverside Sportsman’s Club, 19 Mohawk Drive, Riverside, RI 02915. All are welcome to attend a meeting. I intend on posting these indoor meetings notices here during our winter meeting season. In May, we move outdoors and fish some of local locations around the state. Since I’m the President, I’m trying to make it more visible, hopefully to promote more growth and interest. Our club goal is to share, educate, and promote healthy use of our environment.
