A new level of simple and I bet that belt was under $100. Does it come in different colors? VanStaalSteve

I clean the Velcro with a hair brush if there is sand in it. But if it fails and I can't get it fixed, then it's time for another belt. There is a lot of good one's out there. Tight lines. PaulS
OP mentioned back problems/issues. I wonder how many of the people recommending belts other than the Z belt have back issues?
Sudsy
Home Depot, $35 (it's quite a few years old though) I like the fact that the outer belt that the equipment is attached to goes through loops on the inner back bracing belt - no wear on the fabric of your waders Edited November 20 by Sudsy I just wanta play everyday despite small nagging injuries -- and go home to a woman who appreciates how full of crap I truly am. ~ Crash Davis Social Distancing since 1962
hunter123
I like the pictures of the z-belt. If the Tiderunner fails, it looks like my next belt. Capt, Frank Mundus. The man, the myth, the legand.

That double stainless welded carabiner would be $30. So $80+ belt before other bells and whistles.

It's for the Boga, Boga on one clip, end of the tether on the other. Standing on a rock at night the tether is a must have. The belt all by itself, nothing hanging on it was $35, and probably is $50+ today (Thank you Joe) Edited November 21 by Sudsy I just wanta play everyday despite small nagging injuries -- and go home to a woman who appreciates how full of crap I truly am. ~ Crash Davis Social Distancing since 1962

I know some jetties have structures for navigation lights. But what if you are on one without it? You would trust that clip to hold you?
StripersBR
I appreciate everyone replying to this thread. Im definitely gonna look at both belts this show season and pick one up. It seems either way, both are very well made and will last years!
