Put mine on this morning with my muck boots.

I have 2 shorter and 2 longer pairs

I usually wear them to keep those damn steel wool socks from WW2 from eating my legs off at the ankles. They're warm, but damn they're harsh.

They work, but I struggle to image how you would use the batteries while in waders as they’re typically designed to clip to the boot or the like. They’re also a bit pricey and can be finicky. I would advocate for some of the disposable ones instead.

The batteries are integrated into the insole. Like this:

I've got a pair but hardly used them. Didn't seem to work all that well. I've been mostly hunting half days (to noon or so) and my feet rarely get cold like they do on an all day treestand sit. To me it's a bigger pain to deal with charging them every night than just wearing good wool socks and semi loose boots.

I'll have mine on the rocks.

Interesting, I have not seen that design before. I can't imagine the battery lasts very long and / or that they get terribly warm. That remote would also almost certainly get lost in short order around my house. I used to spend >60 days a year skiing (downhill racing, so lots of standing around on the slope not doing much) and always came back to the disposable inserts. Nothing to lose, break, remember to charge, swap in / out, etc.

If they managed to keep my feet warm the half dozen times I go shell fishing this Jan and Feb I'd be a happy guy.

Anyone try antiperspirant to keep your feet from sweating.

I have. Seems to work. Not saying my feet don't get cold but they certainly aren't wet. Unscented, of course.

You know it must be a penguin bound down if you hear that terrible screaming and there ain't no other birds around.

bob_G, the older I get, the colder I get too ... I feel your pain.

Clothing that was uncomfortably warm on a partyboat, ten years ago, is now barely enough. Next stop is a SOLAS suit.

Shell fishing is the toughest. It wasn't all that long ago I could quahog waist deep in slushy saltwater in my breathable waders.

Can't do it anymore.

i would get oversize waiders with boots.

you have to cut the waiders boots and replajse with Micky mouse boots ,glue yourself or some repair boot shop can do for you.this way you have room for more close create insolation, and you will not get cold.
