My new hate is for the scum sucking bottom feeding losers who stand behind a line-up of guys casting and wait for the bait to get sprayed to wiggle themselves into spots that would make a mouse feel claustrophobic. I actually had someone cast over my head from behind me today. Can’t make it up. bbfish

DelP
NoMoCo. Lost a monster today. Hooked up at the very end of the cast as soon as the lure hit the water about 40 yards out (Al Gag’s 6” Whip-it fish). Never saw it. Only basing it on the fact that I could barely reel it and my rod was bending like never before. Guy walking past asked if I was snagged. It was dead weight at times. Got it about halfway in before it unhooked after a big wave passed. Caught a 46” last week. No doubt this was bigger. Can’t sleep now. Replaying it over and over. SurfMonster
Haven't even seen bass feeding in casting distance this Fall....I must have angered the fish gods. Not even a bump yet...I need to get on the board. hobobob 1 " At night, in Jersey waters right off the beach, Summer time.... there be monsters!" RiverCommando215
@bbfish If ya just got on the panty train this would be a non issue. Nobody crowds RC. When they do they receive the horniest of receptions. RC: 86 wins 3 losses by decision Googans: 3 wins 226 losses by TKO RC Fishing report: Water is wet. hobobob, STONES, bbfish and 4 others
DeeMonee
Missing the party this week due to change in work schedule the next 2 weeks. Managing quick PM outings to stay sane. Got into the end of a bite yesterday. 2 27” clean beauties on small poppers in an hour at dusk. They were hitting peanuts in tight. Easy casting to keep my sanity and Zen. adams54, loubert, adobo and 5 others 7

I dunno abt NJ but it was damn cold in mass this am. Upper 20s where I live. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) it's gonna zoom right back into the 60s this weekend. loubert
2-7:30pm yesterday, couple spots, really tried to avoid the crowds but was futile in that regard. Hard crosswind, decent surf. Hatch is peanuts (2" and 4") and a civilization of sand crabs. As stated fish seemed picky, but could be just me. Hooked two, tin and talkin popper, dropped both in the wash. Plan was to fish all of the incoming but the cold did me in early. Happy to have made it out but a little frustrating, still 0/ on the season. I should know better with the peanuts and needing that distance at times. Whortleberry, adobo and adams54
