luckyOC
As always, this is the place for your reports... as little or as much detail as you care to share, with hopefully a good bit less focus posted on exact spots, times, and locations. Any and all word from the local waters welcome here, and "no fish" reports are welcome as well; always good to have gotten out there at least, wasn't it? Things are cooling off, fishing never really heated up, lets hope that changes! hunter123

ReeferRob
We'll be down tomorrow morning hunting Tog and Sheepshead in the inlet. There's supposed to be no wind. ReeferRob
The wife finally got her first Tog. People fishing the inlet for bass weren't catching anything. Steve Coleman
This season with the near impossible slot limit for stripers, it is likely far fewer fishermen are targeting them here. That said, CG is right, this is the time for them if there is any time at all in the fall :-) Too bad the few Va. and Md. coastal fishermen were singled out with the 28-31 inch slot, unlike some other states. linesiderdemdnj
it is tempting to get out there and give it a shot, but i would not be chunking. i have seen some nice areas that should hold bass if they do come in. it is just hard for me to go there with all of the unknowns vs places that i do know will have some fish. does seem like it is worth a try given the fact that the theme the past 5 years (or so) has been zero fish. 7nBait
7nBait
AIVA.. Friday late day and all day Saturday. Spiny dogs. NW to N wind and variable. Bunker, fleas and bloodworm fish bites. From the inlet corner. Would have liked the spot to the left but was occupied. Never saw him bring in anything (he left after a while). Guy to the right (facing Wallops) caught a large ray. Water felt like its still in the 60's. Tried up the beach on Saturday, nothing. I was the last to leave the beach around 7pm both nights.
