I was told that a fellow fisherman had words w another fisherman   Well things didn’t go well for one gentleman   I guess it was on Facebook

Yup, that's the story.  Hard to believe, those guys are usually such gentlemen.:dismay:   There's no fishing etiquette anymore.  If I had a young son, I wouldn't expose him to that kind of fishing. That present crew is getting far too possessive.

Bell rd as I was told , that everyone was playing ok  as best they could , well someone got mad and said something to a gentleman from Vt. Which was not appropriate so he showed him his point of view  but that didn’t work so he kicked his ars to the ground then the knife came out and everyone jumped in   It’s somewhere online this is only a rumor?

This makes six incidents in that same area in the last couple years that I'm aware of.  All seem to involve the same user group. This time a knife was apparently brandished, another time it was a machete.

More and more locals no longer go there during the summer months because of this.   We've really got to do better.  The Bourne PD is receptive, and seem concerned.  But true to form the ACOE more or less turns a deaf ear.

What do you think ACOE should do?  Besides issuing parking permits, I think law enforcement is out of their jurisdiction.  Should they put up signs saying “ No Hoodlums- violators will be fined”

Joking aside, this isn’t even close to acceptable behavior. It really is a problem everywhere.
