Wheeler
Bought a vacation rental property that has a shared mailbox on the corner. It services 16 trailers/homes on a road that is across the street and about 100 yards away. The place I bought has been vacant for 10+ years, so everyone that needs their mail just pulls off the road and into my driveway/property to park while they retrieve it. Not only do they block the driveway (they often congregate there if they see someone they know), but I had stone put down and every time they pull in, they tear it up a little. It hasnt been a huge issue while Ive been renovating, but it will be a big problem once I start staying there or renting it out. I called the post-office about it and her answer was to put a note in everyone's mailbox telling them not to pull in the driveway. That accomplished nothing. I don't want to be out there yelling at old people for pulling in my driveway, I want it moved. What's my next step? If only I could cast into it, hook up, and be connected to it. My line would be attached to the chaos and, for a moment, I would mainline the power of nature.
ken r
I'd move it. At night. Then deny any accusations that you had anything to do with it. 2GT, Fishhead7, riggler and 2 others 3

In person is likely my next step. Does the postmaster actually have the authority to move it? Do I just explain the situation and hope for the best, or do I need to actually plead my case with all sorts of pictures/info/evidence? She already basically said no on the phone. If only I could cast into it, hook up, and be connected to it. My line would be attached to the chaos and, for a moment, I would mainline the power of nature. JimW
Nothing happens without talking to postmaster. MikeMc
I'd start by flattening tires of the people in your drive. ted527 and charloots 2 You know it must be a penguin bound down if you hear that terrible screaming and there ain't no other birds around. MikeMc
Of course, that might not be the best solution, but the satisfaction would be great. Wheeler
lol, I have no ill-will towards these people. Most are old/feeble. Moving the mailbox to their street would actually be better for everyone (except the postmaster) I assume? MikeMc 1 If only I could cast into it, hook up, and be connected to it.
