For a rubber striped bass bait? About $1.00 is as high as I’ll go. Until you can’t get FinSFish or sluggos for about $1, there’s literally no reason to pay more than that. $2.00 of somebody invents some kind of game changer. 

Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere.
Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.

Also…yes…anyone asking $50 for a poured rubber bait is absolutely smoking something…and it’s not even the good stuff, he’s tripping :read:

I pay close to that for some of the Z-man baits, but only because they're damn-near indestructible and won't get ripped up after a few schoolies like some baits.
