Heavy Seas
I have one of the stormr neoprene jackets (typhoon I believe) from about 10 years ago. It’s getting time to get a new one. What do you guys recommend checking out? I’m not taking waves over my shoulders so it doesn’t need to be fully sealed but I will occasionally wade out to the bar. luyber
How much are you looking to spend? Depending on conditions, I will wear a guy cotton efficient top, standard guy cotton surf top, aquaskinz bayman, or grunden's anorak. Probably the best "bang for the buck" is the grundens anorak. Solid top both surf and boat with a really good price point.

VanStaalSteve
Grundens 319 Commercial jacket or Neptune 103 anorak. Both about $110, completely waterproof and excellent jackets for surf fishing. Edited September 16 by VanStaalSteve

chisler
I picked up the Century NG drytop. I'm no expert on surf specific tops as I always just used a rain shell or hardshell jacket. I was concerned this top was going to be too heavy.. so far I'm pleasantly surprised. It's pretty comfortable and kept me dry during Lee when i got washed up on shore. Give it a look. riverside_eng
