Didn't board the Party/Head boat this morning.

When the pelagics show up, the party boats take full advantage... Require reservation, then take cash from any Jamoke that lines up early at the marina. What a joke.

Can't fish when every railing is taken and the cabin is standing room only... Don't blame you for turning around. Hope they refunded you.

The money never left the wallet.

Yes, I understood your original post… I was asking about the origin of the photo.

I don't recall. I think it was a pic from Cape Cod or Rhode Island sanctuary location where the locals were shipping illegals back to NY, though, I may be wrong.

Most on party boats don't know what they are doing, have no fishing ettiquite, and only care about catching! we would frequent them long ago until we had words words with some real ignorant people. The couple trips this happened, spoke to captain and he just shrugged his shoulders. Stopped 35 yrs ago and ONLY hit the beaches!  More fun and most other surfcasters have been nice.  As with everything we do, there is always the exception and you run into jerks!

Didn't go on a head/party boat this a.m. in OC. Can't blame the boat owner for making $$ but this was bad. Zero consideration for his customers. Arrived an hour early and it looked like this. A disaster of mangled lines and short tempers waiting to happen, no thanks.

Looks more like Haitian refugees. Good thing for calm seas anyway, lol

Lol! This can’t be real…and if it is, man…I’d give up a toe or two before doing that

…It would be awesome if this was actually just a boat meant for transporting all of last years new professional NJ surfcasters, to a deserted island…:howdy:

Even on 6-pack drift boats the feeling of accomplishing something is often lacking. Halibut fishing in Alaska was pretty pathetic, getting to act as a human winch between the mates hooking it and gaffing it. For me, deciding when, where, and how to fish is a huge part of the challenge and reward. Got nothing but short fluke kayaking yesterday, but it was all me.

I enjoyed alaska when i went and didnt have those issues,  but hear its changing alot. Halibat are overfished and pressured as well as the kings...it seems the season closes there at a moments notice.

I have no issues with party boats on off days and low crowds.  Still prefer the surf.

I'll BE PULLING ON MY ROD - TILL THEY LAY ME IN SOD!!!!!
