Ok who went down? That was 3 hours to get back home yesterday. Hopefully be back next week.

Rain, T storms and too much wind for my skiff kept me away.  Probably do a quick trip before work Wednesday or Thursday then next weekend I am hoping the fish will have moved into a few areas.  Boats ready, gear is ready just looking for a nice weather window.

I didn't even know that was the forecast.

That SW wind absolutely upwelled the temp Eastern Sound. Normally I would have to round Monomoy and head out to Nantucket in the past to hit 64 that was present in parts of the Sound and its August.

Need everything to settle down, **** smelly foamy brown water to blow out.

Took a 2hr drive and found some chubs and huge bonito.

Your news caused serious disturbance in the force in my household.

I was literally packing for a trip to the Cape when I made the mistake of telling my son what you said.

We have reservations at a campground.

Now we literally have to pack two sets of gear. If the fishing on the Cape doesn't stack up right away, he won't rest unless we go check it out.

Reason being, we're in Maine next week and he knows he'll miss the bones if they make a short stop like last year.

Lots of action where I went. Couple quick blitz and mostly blind casting for them. Caught my PB sea robin while chasing for fluke too. Should have better time with clear skies tomorrow.

I am guessing RI?  I have never seen chub mackerel on the Cape but have in Narragansett a few times.   Cool looking fish.

Moving to central MA sucks to get to the saltwater sometimes.
